Colmar

Colmar is France's 'Fairytale Town' known for its medeival half-timbered buildings and flower lined canals. This quaint town was apparently the inspiration for the beloved Disney film 'Beauty and the Beast', and it's pretty clear why. Walking through the streets of Colmar is like seeing your favorite childhood stories come to life all around you. From castle turrets to tiny cottages, you'll feel like the main character in your own fairytale!

Colmar is a small town located in the Alsace region of northeast France. The Alsace is where Germany meets France, and ownership over the region has been passed back and forth over all the years. The result is a unique and special mix of both cultures, so think of Colmar as France, but with a twist!
